My husband and I were completing the final stages of our new home build. The one thing that we really wanted that our builder did not offer was a garage floor coating. We had invested so much money in our brand-new house and we wanted to now protect the concrete floor that we were going to be walking on and seeing every single day. We called GarageExperts® to get a free in-home estimate scheduled before we closed. This was extremely helpful because the job was able to be completed on the same day as our closing date, which meant it would be completely dry and walkable the day of our move. When the GarageExperts® owner came out to do the estimate, they brought samples of different floor colors, and I was blown away at how many options we had. I was able to choose a color that was best suited for our space, which happened to match the colors that we had selected for the inside. I liked this idea because it feels like our living space flows into our garage space seamlessly.
On the day of our installation, the crew was on time and got to work immediately. It was nice to see all their prep work and cleaning prior to starting the floors. My original thought was they wouldn’t need to do much because it was a brand-new slab of concrete. But they really did take their time to make sure that the underlying foundation was in tip-top shape before they placed their Garage FX® System on top. Seeing the crew complete the full system of epoxy and polyaspartic products just like they had mentioned during the initial meeting gave me confidence that everything was being done right. They were able to do our two-car garage in a single day. We were able to have the movers come the next day and not feel worried that they were going to mess up our new floors. We were even able to park our cars in the garage a few days after.
Getting our new garage floor done was the icing on the cake for our lifelong dream of having a new build home. The whole process from start to finish felt so effortless on our part as the homeowner. Our local GarageExperts® showed up on time for their appointments and cleaned up afterward so that our space looked perfect. My husband and I absolutely love our new floor and are hosting a Sunday night football party in our garage. We have never lived anywhere where we felt comfortable enough to host an event in our garage. GarageExperts® really helped us make our garage a true extension of our home.
